YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM RATHER YOU ARE A WARRIOR.
Today there was an interview that had gone viral in not just Kerala but the whole nation. The actress who had undergone brutal sexual harassment that too a quotation from the film industry itself. But she stood up like a phoenix and is still fighting for justice.
It has become common in our country that, a girl gets abused, the media is arranging debates on it, the police investigation and finally the verdict. There is no surprise in hearing such news every single day people only get surprised when there is no such news. The thing that surprises me is that we are living in a society where Goddesses are Worshipped, how could someone worship a female when he cannot respect the women around him. This society is literally educated but not socially.
And more often the girl's mouth is been shut if she had gone through such harassment then she is not allowed to say it to the public because society believes that her life has gotten spoiled. What does this society really define about a girl's life? Is it just her body that matters? If a girl has gotten raped then society sees her as a victim and it's like she has done a sin. Who is responsible for her fate? It's just us the society who is just pushing her life into hell.
And that's where Bhavana is a real warrior she spoke she is still fighting not only for herself but for the whole society. It will be a great threat if such people who are so much venomous are left free in society. We will never be able to walk on the road without fear.
Our judicial system should implement the most fearful punishment to such people so that when such a thought comes to anyone's mind he should remember what he will go through in the future. We are living in a developing country let our minds and thoughts also get developed.
As Women's day is approaching the only thing that I have to say to my fellow women community is that we are not at all weak we are getting weaker only because of our thoughts and fear. If we have the potential to overcome all those fear and thoughts no one could harm us. Bhavana is an inspiration to all of us. BE BRAVE LADIES. We can fight for our justice and let others hear our voices.
